IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Julia (Nelson)
O'Hare
January 13, 1914 – May 14, 2015
Julia "Tooty" (Nelson) O'Hare, age 101, of Homestead on May 14, 2015. Beloved wife of the late James J. O'Hare, her devoted spouse since 1938. Mother of Kathleen Maurer, James Michael (Bonnie) O'Hare, Sharon (Milan) Blazevich, and "Double-Nephew" of Colonel Emmett N. O'Hare. Adored by eight grandchildren: Michael, Melissa (James) Sweeney, Michelle, Matthew, Sunshine, Seth, Meredith (Fiancée Walter Schwarz), MacKenzie (Dave) Andres; 10 Great-Grandchildren; and her special "Angels" Cathy and Dee. Tooty was a "Jill of All Trades;" a meticulous seamstress, gardener, volunteer for St. Mary's church and school, and cub scout leader in addition to an avid bowler and card player. Aunt Tooty and Uncle Jimmy hosted the most memorable holiday parties ever. To quote the grandchildren, "No one could cook like Grandma." These memories will be cherished in our hearts and she will be missed by all…"Unforgettable." In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Bridges Foundation and the Animal Rescue League. Friends received at the William R. Welsh Funeral Home, 309 East 10th Avenue, Homestead on Sunday & Monday 2-4 & 6-8 PM.
