Russell F. Cauley, II, age 85, formerly of West Homestead, Beaver, and Ross Twp., and currently of Aliquippa, PA died peacefully on February 6, 2013. Firstborn of the late Russel and Mabel (Carney) Cauley, he was a loving husband of 52 years to the late Rita May (Meyer) Cauley; proud father of Margaret Kissell; Russell (J. Patricia) Cauley, III; David (Holly) Cauley; Sr. Diane Cauley, CSJ; Richard Cauley; Mary Lou (Randall) Shallue; and Maureen Suckling; devoted grandfather to 14 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; fun-loving brother to John (Carol) Cauley; William (Carole) Cauley; James (Nancy) Cauley; Patricia (James) Hein and the late T. Kenneth Cauley; jokester brother-in-law to Marion Cauley, Louise Smith, Geraldine Snyder and Elizabeth Meyer; and beloved uncle to 30 nieces and nephews. There are in addition many cousins, friends and neighbors who will miss his smiling Irish eyes, his quick witted sense of humor, his political opinions/arguments, and his undaunted optimism. Viewing, funeral and internment will take place at Sterling-Ashton-Schwab-Witzke Funeral Home Catonsville, MD on Sunday, February 10 and Monday, February 11. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to the Sisters of St. Joseph, 1020 State Street Baden, PA 15005. The family will receive guests at the Sisters of St. Joseph motherhouse chapel on Friday, March 8 following a 7:00 pm Memorial Mass to celebrate Russell's life. Arrangements by the William R.
